I THINK THAT IS BS FOR THEM TO PUT THEIR RACE ON TOP OF STS WHEN THEY SCHEDULE THAT LATE IN THE SEASON WHEN NO ONE ELSE WAS RACING!!!

If you are considering a Bomber (Stock) Why not take proven rules from another local track that brings 18 cars on average every week. STS rules are good for a stock car that races. Street tires 235 70 15 max tires, 15 in vaccum, stock Q jet carb or stock 2 barrel no 4412. This will allow the fender class to travel on off weekends.

We will be starting up a new season of the bowling league November 8 at 7:30 pm at Saratoga Lanes. It costs $12 per person for 3 games and shoe rental is included. $10 goes to the bowling alley and $2 goes towards the pot. The more teams we have the more payout. We will pay at least the top 3 teams. We are looking to try to get at least 6 more 4 person teams. Right now we have 3 teams that just finished a series. We have changed the start time to try to get more teams together for this winter series. This is an open invite to anyone friends, family, co-workers or anyone who likes to bowl. You do not have to be a good bowler to join this league We have players that carry a 75-150 pin average. Come out and have some fun on Monday nights. How hard is the water pump to replace on a 2006 F350 powerstroke?

Mike I ran stock pulleys on my 305 and 350 only time it would throw a belt was when the belt was worn or pulleys not in line. If you are not taching over 6000 rpm's it should not throw a belt. Do you run an underdrive belt?

Yes any and all cars are welcome. As long as the fall into the class rules. Bring your purestock out it should meet the rules.

Did rules change for the Bombers?

This past season South Texas Speedway had couple of nickle beer nights. I am not part of the track so I don't know if it boosted the ticket sales or not. I know the stands looked pretty good.

I am speaking from a fans point of view. I watched the Thunders last race this year which I thought was very boring. The race start i think 6 cars after about 10 laps 1st place was in the middle of turn 3-4, 2nd was coming out of turn 2 and 3rd was just crossing the start finish line. The rest of the cars had already been lapped and were sitting in the in field. If you can get a class where are cars are pretty close to being equal with 10 or more cars where you never know who was going to win that would be an interesting race. even if they are only turning a 17 second lap time or slower. JMO

UPDATE Clogged catalytic converter was the problem.

Your mass air flow sensor is not reading the air flow with in spec. If the (MAF) is off by .5 Hertz it can make the truck run bad. and wont throw a check engine light. you need to have the wave pattern check by some body who knows how. I swamped the MAF with another truck did not change anything at all.

I have a 2002 Gmc Sierra 1500 with a 4.8 liter V8. In the last couple of days my truck's "service engine soon light" came on and the truck started running fair to crap with-in a day or so. I did a code scan error codes that came up were P0101 and P0300. I change fuel filter, change spark plugs, cleaned the Mass air flow sensor and ran a bottle of Lucas injector cleaner through it. The P0101 code has cleared but now the P0300 code is still there. All I can find on the P0300 code is Random/multiple cylinder misfires. I need help.

It would be nice if tracks would get together and make one set of rules for the fender classes.

I would have liked to race one more time this year. The assphalt guys come over every once in a while to the dirt track to run but the bad thing is they are legal on dirt but the dirt guys are not legal for asphalt. I just can not understand why two tracks less than a couple of miles apart can not have the same rules for the same class. FYI when the asphalt guys race on dirt they have mirrors in the car. The dirt rules dont allow mirrors. I think that is minor just like 70 vs. 75 series tires. I hope ya'll have fun but I will not be bringing my car out sorry I dont have the money to get tires for one night.

I know CCS bomber rules run 75 series tires. I know of a couple of STS bombers that would like to race but will you let us run 70 series tires?
