I guess y'all can see why we're waiting to make any changes in the schedule right now. I've already heard the "oops" from the weather forecasters in San Antonio when the rain didn't come overnight as it had been forecasted.

We do have a weather contingency plan ready to be lauched, if needed, as we get closer to the weekend.

The open practice session that is planned for tomorrow (Thursday) evening is still on schedule - from 4:00 p.m. until dark. Electronic scoring will be set up and pit concessions will be available.

I will be at the track starting at 2P (or so) tomorrow and will provide updates when necessary, as quickly as possible. So, stay tuned!

And looking at the big map, I see some high pressure sitting right up at the top of New Mexico. If that would move down here a little more I think it will help.

But, we gotta keep an eye on those dew points too.

High dew points and low pressure are not a good combination.

I'm thinking we should put Kathy on TV. She sounds like she has a better clue than the weather forecasters.

Come on Debbie, you know I would clam up.

It's from my time spent traveling with the TIDA Late Model series. You had to learn to read that stuff some.

Well dang! My high pressure I was watching moved north.

The low pressure that came through yesterday is moving back north.

So, let's pray that all the wet stuff gets done tomorrow and we can get this gig in the books Friday & Saturday.

Keep thinking positive people, it still doesn't mean we are doomed.

Weatherman is still saying it should be out of here by noonish on Friday.

Question is - will it really come in? They have been wrong all week. I hope they are right that it will be out of here by when they say it will.

Or they will be wrong and it still doesn't come in at all.
