NCRA Announces New Late Model Series and Schedule!

 

 

 

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Midwest City, Oklahoma – January 30, 2011 - The Park City, Kansas based National Championship Racing Association has announced a new regional late model division for the 2011 race season and with it a twelve race schedule to kick off its inaugural season. Five of those races will be stand alone events that will pay $1000 to win with the balance of the races being held in conjunction with the series regular late model division.

 

It all kicks off on Saturday night, April 2nd at the Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson, Kansas. From there the tour will head to Junction Motor Speedway in McCool, Nebraska will be $2500 to win show held in conjunction with the regular late model series on Saturday night.

 

The tour will meet up with the CLMA DIRTCar series at the beautiful Dodge City Raceway Park in Dodge City, Kansas on Saturday night, June 14th before heading to meet the regular late model division in a pair of races, the first coming on Saturday night, June 18th at Thunder Hill Speedway in Mayetta, Kansas that will pay $2500 to win before making their first appearance of the season at 81 Speedway in Park City, Kansas for a special $3000 to win event.

 

The NCRA Great Plains regional late model series will then head to the Great American Dirt Track in Jetmore, Kansas for a $1000 to win show with the CLMA DIRTCar series to close out the month of June.

 

The month of July will see the tour make their second of four appearance of the season at 81 Speedway on Saturday night, July 2nd for a stand alone, $1000 to win show before heading north up Hwy 80 to meet up with the regular late model division and the Belleville High Banks on Sunday night. July 16th will see the tour take part in the annual NCRA Late Model Nationals at Mid-Nebraska Speedway in Doniphan, Nebraska.

 

Labor Day weekend will see the tour make another appearance at 81 Speedway on Saturday night, September 3rd before heading back to the Belleville High Banks on Sunday night. Both shows will be held with the regular late model division.

 

The inaugural season is slated to come to an end on Saturday night, September 17th at 81 Speedway for a $1000 to win stand alone event.

 

The 2011 race season will be the 41st consecutive year for the NCRA, which sanctions the sprint car, late model, modified, southern sport mod and new Great Plains regional late model divisions throughout the Great Plains.
