South Texas Speedway Posted April 1, 2013 Report Share Posted April 1, 2013 Saturday Night March 30th the South Texas Speedway Pure Stocks put on an excellent show for a near capacity crowd, green to checkered it was some exciting racing and South Texas Speedway would like to reward the drivers with ½ price pit entrance this coming weekend April 6th. Any of the 22 drivers that return this Saturday will only be charged $20 for their driver entry which is usually $40. Awesome racing our way of saying Thank you we appreciate the effort. Do you allow Nova's to run in your pure stock class or I should ask (is a Nova considered a sports car)...would like to bring my car down and try out the track. South Texas Speedway Posted April 2, 2013 Author Report Share Posted April 2, 2013 Wanted to make sure the drivers knew that all classes put on some great racing but I am going to try and choose a class each week that puts on the best show and reward them somehow, all the STS drivers are appreciated, a green to checkers race with a full field goes a long ways. Maybe a little additional incentive like this will make a driver think twice before sitting and bringing out a caution or intentionally wrecking someone. We will finally make it down there for the rest of the season..Owen, what a great way to not only give back to the drivers more but to give everyone a reason to race hard but clean and with discipline.
